Kirkjufoss is located in the west of Iceland and its name means church waterfall. The mountain named Kirkjufell is one of the most iconic and photographed in all of Iceland. It is a 463 meter high mountain on the north coast of Iceland's Snaefellsnes peninsula. The mountain is popular due to its unusual shape. When viewed from the south it is strikingly thin, coming to a point at the top. The waterfall is also known as Kirkjufellfoss, enjoy!!!
