A national landmark and the most photographed spot in Wisconsin, the Dells Mill is truly a wonderful place. It's located 5 miles north of Augusta, WI and is a Water-powered flour and feed mill built in 1864. This sunrise shot was taken on a cold December morning and although the leaves from the trees were gone, it did not disappoint. I hope I can go back during the autumn foliage peak to witness this in all its glory. Enjoy!!! During a short visit to beautiful Wisconsin I decided to pay a visit to historic Hyde's Mill. I was there during a cold December morning way after sunrise. Although the golden hour had already passed away, this place is full of potential. I was lucky enough to have the sunlight caresing the top of the little waterfall to the right of the mill. This created the perfect mood for the shot. Enjoy!!! Hyde's Mill |
