With so many awesome locations to shoot it was almost impossible to get bored during my visit to Iceland. When researching to go on this trip, I read that Iceland has around 100,000 waterfalls. I found that a little overstated until I started driving around the country. There are A LOT of them, not sure how many, but a lot--and all are beautiful!
For this shot, taken on my way to the Lake Myvatn area, I actually turned around trying to find a place to safely park the car. This stunning view was only a short hike from Road 1 and was well worth it. The autumn colors were present in the vegetation and the dark blueish clouds made it a perfect moment to capture.
