Every once in a while I send out pictures to some websites in order to get part of my work out there for everybody to see. One of those sites is: http://www.boriken365.com. This website is geared up towards showing pictures of Puerto Rico taken by their readers. A great aspect of this website is that they give the photographer full credit for the work submitted to them. Below you can see various screenshots of my pictures published by them. To see my page and the full articles on the website, please visit: http://www.boriken365.com/index.php/tag/jose-zayas/
This next picture is from my son Alejandro winning his first run ever. Last November, his elementary school organized a fun run and the winners were awarded a turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Alejandro was ready and anxious to run and he said that he was gonna win that turkey. Well, he did!!! From the start he came out on front and never lost the edge. The result, his first win in a sport event. I hope this is just the start of an athletic career. The running boyBaseball is one of my favorite sports, although I'm not good at playing it. I just like it! For this reason, every once in a while I like to take action pics at little league games. This time I snapped a shot of my nephew Yomar as he was taking a swing. Hit the ballMy oldest son Anthony is one of my favorite subjects to photograph. For this picture, he wasn't sure if it was going to come out right, due to the strong light source I used. When we finished the shoot, he liked the final product. Fading into the shadowsMy wife love cats and honestly, I do too. Right now we own three! Cats are a bit strange, they don't depend on humans to survive, like dogs do. Instead, cats show a little affection when they need something from us, like food for example. I just love to watch my sons play and have fun with them. Those blue eyes |
