This photo was a consolation prize as I expected to be able to portray this emblematic place accompanied by the lights of the Aurora Borealis. The forecast for them was favorable but mother nature decided that it would not happen. Anyway, it is a place worth admiring and its beauty is everywhere. Enjoy!! Hallgrimskirkja Church Click on image to view larger size A little over 2 years ago I accepted a job in the continental United States, which led me to move from my native Puerto Rico to the state of Florida. For this reason, both my family and I went through a moment of transition in the which the focus was on adjusting to our new environment and concentrating all our energies on assimilating the changes. For that reason, my hobby of landscape photography took a back seat. Today, 2 years later I decided to return to something that fills me with energy and renews my soul. Looking in the files of my hard drives I noticed that there are still photos that I took and have never seen the light of day. That's why after taking a break from landscape photography for 2 years I share with you a photo I took of a spectacular place called Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia. Amicalola Falls Click on image to view larger size With so many waterfalls on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge is easy to get lost admiring their mesmerizing beauty. There are so many of them that for me was difficult to leave this magnificent part of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy!!! This change allowed the sun rays to sneak in through the dense tree foliage creating this amazing view. Silver Falls State Park in Oregon---such a wonderful and magnificent place to enjoy nature! Rays of Hope Click on image to view larger size With so many nature wonders to admire in Iceland, it's really difficult to stay focused while driving around the country. It is said that Iceland has close to 100,000 waterfalls! This one I found while driving to Lake Myvatn, it was litterally on the side of the road, so beautiful worth stopping to get a better glimpse of it.
