A while ago I had the chance to go to a music recording studio to document the musical production of a Christian singer named Abraham Velazquez. During that time, I had the opportunity to photograph the drums and percussion sessions as well as the vocals. I didn't want to interrupt Abraham, so all the shots were candid. This particular photo I really like due to the emotion and triumph expressed by the singer as he finished one verse of the song. This next shot took place in a music recording studio. I was called to take pictures of a recording artist as he was recording the voice for his next production. When I was done, and as I was walking out of the booth, I took a look at the control console and couldn't help to take one last photo. The song on the paper is titled "Paz sin Fronteras" which translates to "Peace without Frontiers" That song was part of a public campaign to create awareness about the violence in the society and to bring a positive message. It was a collaboration of three recording artists from Puerto Rico. The song was free to download for everyone as part of the outreach campaign. When one of the artists saw the picture, he asked me if they could use it as the official image to promote the song, I said yes! That was my little contribution to bring peace to Puerto Rico.
