Upon returning home and post processing this image I noticed a couple kissing on one of the rock to the right. What a perfect setting for a romantic kiss, enjoy!!!
So there I was, the majestic Godafoss waterfall! The sun was out, the skies were full of clouds and strays of light were sneaking in creating a fascinating view. I got the camera and attempted various compositions trying to maximize the scene. Upon returning home and post processing this image I noticed a couple kissing on one of the rock to the right. What a perfect setting for a romantic kiss, enjoy!!! The sun was almost gone, checking out for the day. But its rays were still kissing the scene, giving us a last glimpse of beauty--one last pocket full os sunshine. We have a sunrise and a sunset every day, go out and enjoy them--they're free! Pocketful of Sunshine
Nothing better than nature, it never fails to deliver. This is without a doubt, one of the things to do before you die.--The Northern Lights! I will forever remember the moment I witnessed God's gift to all of us. Enjoy!!!
The Greatest Show on Earth
With so many stunning sights all over Iceland it's really easy to have a sense overload. On this particular day I was traveling on Road 1 towards Jökulsárlón lagoon when this mountain formation caught my attention. The shape of it and the light made this a mandatory stop and as you can see it didn't disappoint. When visiting Iceland keep your eyes open so you don't miss any of the awesomeness this country has to offer. Enjoy!!!
Beauty All Over
Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall) is an iconic waterfall of Iceland offering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. Gullfoss is part of the Golden Circle tour, located in South Iceland on the Hvítá (White) river which is fed by Iceland´s second biggest glacier, the Langjökull. The water plummets down 32 meters into a rugged canyon which walls reach up to 70 meters in height.
Gullfoss is called the "Golden Falls", since on a sunny day the water plunging down the three step staircase and then tumbeling in two steps down into the 32 m deep crevice truly looks golden. On this day, the water wasn't golden but it was really stunning. Enjoy!!! Gulfoss - Golden Waterfall |
