The sun just cleared the horizon... The sky bloomed with beautiful colors. I was anxiously waiting for that perfect moment ready to shoot away. My family was wondering around Epcot while I was getting ready to capture this moment in time. Hope you like it as much as I do. This one was taken right before the ride was about to close. I rushed in and asked the Cast Member if I could capture the room for my blog. He answered yes without hesitation. After I was done I exited the attraction via a real working elevator used by the employees. Gracias!!! Inside the Hollywood Tower HotelThere's no secret that I love to vacation at Disney World. One of the most interesting parks to go and to photograph is Epcot. I recommend going to the different Pavilions and take your time to scout the area and look for the perfect location. For this one, I was ready about one hour before the start of the fireworks show. I wanted to include the main element (Tori Gate), the lasers, the fireworks and a nice reflection. In order to end up with the shot I was after, I used a cable release. Tori Gate at nightExplore is Flickr's way of showcasing the most interesting photos within a given point in time -- usually over a 24 hour period. Flickr receives about 6,000 uploads every minute -- That's about 8.6 million photos a day! From this huge group of images, the Flickr Interestingness algorithm chooses only 500 images to showcase for each 24-hour period. That's only one image in every 17,000! Featured in Flickr's ExploreEverybody likes Disney and so do I. I love to take the whole family and just be a kid again and have a great time. For this shot, I had to work really fast. It was taken right after the Electric Parade and just before the fireworks--IT WAS CROWDED!!!! I grabbed all my gear looking for that perfect location over one of the little bridges around Cinderella's Castle. Once there, I had to politely ask for some room to set everything up and shoot fast because I needed to go back to the front of the castle to watch and photograph the fireworks! As you can see, all the hard work and effort was totally worth it! Where the Princess sleeps |
