Frigatebird showing his splendor as he graciously flies over my position.
There's something special about black and white images that catches my attention every single time I look at them. Perhaps is the fact that we percieve color and when something in monochrome shows up...we just have to get a second look. Frigatebird showing his splendor as he graciously flies over my position. Shot of my youngest son Alejandro before beginning his Tae Kwon Do test. He doesn't like to get his picture taken, so when he agreed---I fired away. By the way, he nailed his test and advance to the next level. Smiling For The CameraSometimes we glance around with our eyes and we don't take a second to really look and find beauty in the small things. When I go out to shoot, first I scout the area and imagine the photograph in my mind. Second, I go through the settings and lastly I take the shot. Next time you go out, look for the small things, think outside the box. The results could de different and amazing. Still MotionTaekwondo (Korean 태권도), also known as Taekwon-Do and Tae Kwon Do, is a Korean Martial Art. It combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. Here my youngest son Alejandro is posing with his Tae Kwon Do Head Instructor for an environmental portrait. The photo was taken at the end of his belt advancement test. Combat Pose! The magnificent frigatebird is 39 in long with a 85 in wingspan. Males are all-black with a scarlet throaty pouch that is inflated like a balloon in the breeding season. Although the feathers are black, the scapular feathers produce a purple iridescence when they reflect sunlight, in contrast to the male great frigatebird's green sheen. Females are black, but have a white breast and lower neck sides, a brown band on the wings, and a blue eye-ring that is diagnostic of the female of the species. Immature birds have a white head and underparts. Magnificent Frigate Bird |
